Happy Autumn Everyone!

Summer is officially over and Autumn is finally here! Now you’re probably wondering why is she so excited? Summer’s over, no more fun in the sun. But I like to think of Autumn as a time for new beginnings. With that being said I felt like SalutNutrition’s website needed a facelift.

For anyone new to SalutNutrition (and for our old-timers) here’s what to expect from the site. We have four sections/pages food, nutrition, culture, and SalutN!


Food: In this section, I’m going to be exploring different types of foods and sharing these experiences with you all. Eventually, I plan to have recipes up in this section. So save your appetite for some tasty posts!


Nutrition: Here you can find science, evidenced-based nutrition information about various conditions and states. For example, ever wonder what is diabetes? Or is that diet really good for me?  This page might have the answers. If you are a dietetic or nutrition student this section is for you too. There will be tips on the whole process to become a Registered Dietitian.



Culture: This is where I share my experiences with different cultures. It’s pretty simple. I see it, I experience it, I write it and I share it!


SalutN:  This page is my favorite page. (Shhh! Don’t tell the other pages!) Here you will find random things about random things. You’ll find information about physical fitness, mental health wellness, and so much more. I’ve been dabbling in photography and creative writing. Who knows I might share some of my pieces here! SalutN is where I show you how I cheers to life!



In October we’re launching season one of our brand new web series SalutEats! Join me as I speak with fellow foodies about their experiences growing up as first generation Americans. We’ve fooides from Africa, Europe, Asia, South America and the West Indies. Hope you have your passports ready! Be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel by clicking here!
