Hello February!! Or as they say in the language of love… Bonjour!!!! January went by in a flash! Although it was a bit shaky at times we still had a some great times this month. Today marks the last day of my personal 14-day yoga challenge. (Check out my instagramΒ to see more about it.)Β Last night I went to a reception honoring 40 Stony Brook University Alumni under 40 doing commendable things in their field. I was nominated. Even though I didn’t get chosen to be an honoree I am still honored to have been nominated. The event was beautiful and I feel inspired and super pumped to put all of my SulutNutrition ideas into fruition!

As always there’s so much going on in February. So without further adieu here are the food and cultural happenings in February!

  • Happy World Vegan Day!!! Today's lunch rice, chickpeas (channa) with spicy okra. The cucumbers and tomatoes don't really match the dish but I needed them to help balance out. The spice. Channa or chickpeas are a great source of plant based protein. πŸ‡
πŸ‡See vegans can eat more than twigs and berries! Although I'm not vegan we can all benefit from having a more veganesque lifestyle. I challenge you to find a Vegan and talk to them about what it means to be vegan.
